Fire gutted a home located at Jl Intercon, Taman Kebon, Jeruk Blok L1 No. 47, RT 007/RW 07, Srengseng Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, Wesr Jakarta, Monday (5/23). It was triggered by electricity short-circuit from a clothes steam tool.

We managed to control the flames about 30 minutes later. There is no casualties so far

Head of West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Hardisiswan said hia side got a report from resident at around 11.05 AM.

"We then immediately send five fire trucks to the scene. And arrived arounf 10 minutes," he told.

Before the firemen arrives, he continued, locals had tried to put out the flames from Alfon's home.

"We managed to control the flames about 30 minutes later. There is no casualties so far," he closed.
